Jumping...again!

I wanted to place him in front of the blue sky only, but the mountains were in the way. The solution is to lie flat on the ground when taking the picture. As you may figure out from the grass in front of the camera. He is not jumping very high, but choosing this angle gives that impression.

Reflections mini-workshop with my camera club

This week two professional photographers joined us on Oslo Kamera Klubb's weekly walk. The theme was "Reflections" - which presently happens to be my favourite subject. First they told us what to look for and then followed us on the walk and later we all met up at the club to go through the results.

Oslo Kamera Klubb

During the summer months OKK has weekly excursions. This week we were invited to a lovely seaside cabin, and some of the photographers had dressed up accordingly. I have received an Editors Choice award for this picture. Going out to take pictures with fellow photographers brings new inspiration.

Reflection in an old photograph

This is a reflection in a photo of my great grandmother Anna. The focus is set on the reflection. What is reflected must be light enough to be visible in the picture. I chose an angle that placed the reflection in a dark area of the old photograph.

Here the light from the window lights up the dining table with the chairs around it.

What I like about this picture is that the reflection complements the old picture and thus creates a story.
