Craft & Vision

I've found these e-books very inspiring. $5 per book is a manageable price.

Suitcases and Shadows

This image was taken at Oslo Airport last summer. The late evening sun was facing the travellers and thus casting long shadows. I was standing on a bridge above them,  shooting like a madwoman and trying to get my single focus point to hit the head of the unsuspecting travellers.

Yesterday I came in third with this image in Oslo Kamera Klubb, Picture of the week. The subject was "Koffert", meaning suitcase. A word that is also subject to other interpretations in Norwegian :-)

Winter in Oslo

Downtown Oslo today. It was windy and snowing and very cold, so not very many people were out shopping.

I added a sepia layer that seems to have turned a bit pink when saving for web. Any clue on why that sometimes happen, let me know :-)

Ice Skaters

This ice rink is lit by floodlights from different angles. Playing with split toning made the different coloured shadows stand out more.

Ice

The bubbles stood out best with the light coming in from the side.

On Reflection

Sometimes when a window consists of several pieces of glass, they are at an angle and you can see the same object reflected twice in the window.
